The GA2 Fat is the thick version of the GA2 with a 33 mm outer diameter. It is for riders with large hands or anyone who wants more rubber between hand and bar. Construction and inner clamp are the same as the GA2, only the grip circumference is larger. The wall gets thicker towards the outside where the damping is needed.
