The Fizik "Terra Ergolace GTX Flat" MTB Shoes - Ice Grey/Black is the Terra Ergolace GTX for flat pedals and foul weather: a three-layer GORE-TEX membrane keeps rain and spray out while staying breathable. The tear resistant ripstop upper with PU laminated toecap and side reinforcements stands up to rock and roots, and the Ergolace lacing cradles the foot. The X2 Flat outsole has a low-profile tapered tread under the midfoot that the pins bite into directly, and a widened base for large platform pedals. The EVA midsole cushions and stabilises, and the directional Vibram lug pattern grips when hiking, slick rock included. The slim cut avoids the bulky look of many mountain bike shoes.
