The Giro "Coalition Spherical" Fullface Helmet - Matte Black is Giro's lightweight full face for enduro and downhill: in-mold construction with a polycarbonate outer shell and Progressive Layering of EPP and EPS foam that manages low and high speed impacts separately. Mips Spherical lets the two shell layers rotate against each other like a ball-and-socket joint in an angled impact, shedding rotational energy. The chin bar sits in the Halo System: Pebax polymer and elastomer bushings set into the EPS absorb kinetic energy, letting the helmet beat the standard chin bar deflection test by almost double. Add roughly 800 g in size M/L, the magnetic Fidlock buckle, a DryCore brow pad, two sets of cheek pads on emergency snaps and tool-free breakaway visor bolts. Certified to CPSC and CE EN 1078, plus NTA certification.
