Weight
The heaviness of a BMX part, measured by weighing. It's worth noting that weight specifications for BMX parts can vary and may not always be precise. Several factors contribute to this:Manufacturer's weight specifications may be inaccurate or incomplete. The weight of two identical parts can also differ. We cannot weigh every individual part. For example, if there are handlebars in different heights, the manufacturer usually provides just one weight specification for all heights. When weighing two identical tires, you might get two different results.

The Halo "JX2 Junior FW" Rear Wheel - 20 Inch (451) is a ready to ride race rear wheel from Halo's JX2 range, the lightest of the Halo BMX series, built for young riders. The JX2 rim in 451 size (20 x 1 1/8") is 19 mm deep and takes tyres from 1 1/8" to 1 3/8", laced with black coated, double butted stainless spokes and black alloy nipples. Halo quotes the wheelset at just over 1250 g. This is the simple version for a screw on freewheel: the Halo MXR FW hub has a standard 1.37" x 24 TPI freewheel thread, Halo recommends its Clickster freewheel for it. The forged and CNC machined aluminium hub runs on 6902 sealed bearings and has a 15 mm alloy axle with 3/8" bolts. The rim has 32 holes and a CNC machined braking surface. No freewheel is included.
