The Ikon "UD Carbon Flat" BMX Race Handlebar - Ø31.8mm is Ikon's carbon handlebar with a 31.8mm clamp and the flat bend. It is made of unidirectional carbon, where all fibers run parallel in one direction, which makes it light, stiff and strong. As a first for carbon BMX bars it has an internal carbon cross reinforcement: an internal support running from the upper bend to the clamp area that adds strength and stiffness without adding weight. The tubing is tapered in an aero shape. At 8.0" rise and 28.5" width it has a 5° backsweep and a 1° upsweep and weighs 470g. The finish is matte UD carbon with a white or grey graphic, the grip area is 22.2mm. Ikon recommends a carbon assembly paste for mounting; the stem is not included.
