The Leatt "CeraMAG Gravity 8.0 Ti" MTB Ahead Stem is the lightest gravity stem in the Leatt range. Its body is made from CeraMAG, a ceramic coated magnesium alloy that is lighter than aluminium and, according to the manufacturer, dampens more vibration. Together with the titanium bolts the stem weighs between 93 and 103 grams depending on length. The zero gap faceplate wraps the handlebar over 210 degrees and spreads the clamping force evenly, which reduces the stress in the bar. The interlocking faceplate interface makes fitting easier and the extra wide clamping area gives precise steering. A seal cap keeps dirt out of the steerer tube. Leatt certifies the stem to EFBE EPAC Gravity TRI-TEST standard, category 5.
