Rennen "Decimal" BMX Race Chainring - Black
is a CNC machined 4-bolt chainring (104mm BCD) by Rennen for BMX race. The Decimal sizes (e.g. 40.2T or 42.7T) are not literal fractional tooth counts: Rennen machines the pitch circle and tooth profile so that the effective gear ratio sits exactly between two whole tooth counts. This lets you tune your gearing in tenth-of-a-tooth steps, much finer than with regular chainrings. The Decimal size is selectable as an option.
