The Restrap "Bumper Bar" Headset Mount sits on the steerer like a spacer and does two jobs at once: it is a hard point for mounting lights, and it pushes handlebar bags upwards and away from the front wheel. That helps above all on smaller bikes with a low stack height or limited handlebar to tyre clearance. It is made from high-strength, powder coated steel with a front grille and 30 mm slots on the top and bottom that take the retention straps of the Restrap bar bags. Additional 5 mm holes on the top and bottom give further mounting options, the curved front takes most light mounts and sits out in front of the steerer, ideal for the beam. On the steerer the Restrap "Bumper Bar" Headset Mount counts as a 3 mm headset spacer.
