The Reverse Components "AirCon" Disc Brake Pads - Shimano XTR 2012-2016 let you add cooling fins to your Shimano brake. The fins are not bonded to the backing plate, so you simply move them over to the next set of pads. Reverse states up to 9 percent less heat at the caliper, which mostly pays off on long descents. The organic compound bites early and runs quietly. The set holds one pair of pads, two anodised aluminium fins and the retaining spring.
