The Shimano "Deore XT BR-M8120" BMX Race Brake Caliper - Post Mount is the four piston caliper of the Deore XT group. The aluminum body is machined from one block, the four ceramic pistons give consistent braking in all conditions. According to US Pro, Shimano reduced rotor noise and raised braking power by 10% compared to the M8000. The pads have cooling fins (Ice Technologies).
It mounts via post mount, front or rear. The hose connects via banjo, the matching hose is the SM-BH90-SBM. Only the caliper is included, without rotor, hose, lever or adapter. Only Shimano mineral oil belongs in Shimano brakes.
