The Spank "Spoon DC" MTB Pedals are Spank's affordable alloy pedals and replace a plastic pedal without cutting corners inside: axle, industrial bearings and IGUS bushing are the same as in the pricier Oozy. The one piece die cast body measures 100 x 105 mm and tapers from 16 mm at the edges to 12 mm in the middle, so the foot finds the concavity. Each pedal carries 12 steel and 8 alloy pins, the leading edges are chamfered and the surface is shot peened.
