According to Cane Creek the Cane Creek "Coil IL" MTB Rear Shock is the world's most compact and lightweight fully adjustable coil shock, made for bikes with 120 to 140 mm rear travel. It gives short travel bikes serious downhill capability and feels more plush and planted than a small air shock; a progressive VALT spring adds the end-stroke support of an air shock. The Cane Creek "Coil IL" MTB Rear Shock is not recommended for clevis style suspension designs and does not fit Specialized Stumpjumper and Turbo Levo models. Spring and mounting hardware are chosen separately.
