The Chase "Element Pro+ Cruiser" 2024 BMX Race Bike - 24 Inch - Wine/Sand is the 24 inch cruiser race bike of the Chase Element line in model year 2024, which Chase calls "Element 10", here in wine red paint with sand colored graphics. The frame is hydroformed 7005-T6 aluminum with an aero shaped seat tube, an integrated 1-1/8" head tube, a Press Fit BB86 bottom bracket and enclosed dropouts with a built-in chain tensioner. Pro+ Cruiser is the bigger of the two cruiser sizes, with a 22" top tube.
Up front sits an Ikon Pro Carbon fork for 24" wheels with an aluminum steerer and 20mm dropouts with an adaptor for a 3/8" axle, bar (5.75" rise) and stem (50mm) have a 31.8mm clamp. The rear brake is a Tektro hydraulic disc brake with a 120mm rotor. It comes with a 2-piece Excess LSP crank with 180mm arms, an Insight 41T chainring, an 18T cog, Chase Element hubs with 36 holes and a cassette body with three pawls, Sun Ringlé Envy rims without brake surface, Tioga Fastr X tires in 24" x 1.75" and an aero seat post with quick release and an Elevn PC pivotal seat. According to US Pro the washers of the Excess crank go between pedal and crank arm.
With pedals the bike weighs 9.85 kg according to US Pro. The photos show other pedals, the bike ships with nylon platform pedals.
