The 108 is the BMX chain from Connex: 1/2 x 1/8 inch, 112 links, inner and outer plates fully nickel-plated. The plating is what separates it from the 100, protecting Connex "108" Chain against corrosion and keeping the chain cleaner in the wet.
Connex is the bicycle brand of Wippermann jr. from Hagen, the only German chain manufacturer. The spring clip is included, so no chain tool is needed to fit it.
