have a round shape with a flattened outside profile and the areas of the spindle and the pedal hole are fully welded around to ensure maximum strength. This very high quality crank set is equipped with sprocket holes for regular sprockets (23T and bigger) and Micro Drive sprockets (smaller than 23T) on both crank arms.
