The e*thirteen "Grappler Sidekick Pro GR Flux 66 DH" MTB Rear Wheel - 27.5" is e*thirteen's aluminium downhill rear wheel, tested over multiple World Cup seasons: the Sidekick Pro GR hub is built tough enough for the world's roughest tracks, yet shaves grams with a lightweight oversized 17 mm alloy axle and new bearings and seals. The adjustable deadband decouples the drivetrain from the suspension, eliminates pedal kickback and filters drivetrain shock and vibration before it reaches the rider; pawls retracted during coasting mean dramatically less friction and nearly silent operation. The low-profile Flux 66 Pro rim in 6069-AL with 30 mm inner width delivers balanced compliance, strength and performance at an exceptional weight; rear-tuned build with 32 Sapim D-Light spokes and Sapim Secure Lock brass nipples for crisp power transfer. Handbuilt, tubeless, 6-bolt, E-MTB compatible.
