The Fidlock "Vacuum Ahead Cap Base" Phone Mount puts the smartphone centrally on the stem: a special ahead cap bolts onto the steerer, the base goes on top and is secured with a clamp, either with a knurled screw for quick removal or theft-proof with an Allen screw. When no smartphone is needed, only the flat cap stays on the bike. The mount combines magnetic force with a suction cup: the magnets centre the smartphone on the base, and as soon as stronger forces act, the vacuum secures it as well. It is released by pressing the lever on the side. This lets you click the smartphone on and off with one hand and rotate it 360° when docked, without interfering with electronics. The magnetic counterpart sits on the smartphone, as a VACUUM case or a VACUUM uni phone patch, and is not included.
