Three ingredients work together: highly refined paraffin forms a dry, water-repelling coating that sheds dirt, spherical tungsten cuts friction under high torque, and ceramic boron nitride platelets lay a non-stick, anti-wear layer on the chain. The wax comes in a reusable boil bag that is heated straight in a water bath and is enough for about 25 chain dips.
