The Silca "SpeedChip" Wax Additive is the chip you drop into the Secret Chain Blend hot melt wax when speed is all that matters: a full synthetic wax from the same base oils as Synergetic with tungsten disulfide platelets in three sizes, and it modifies the whole pot for good. One chip per 250 g of wax gives 0.4 % more efficiency according to Silca, two chips 0.6 %, and Team Visma runs it in time trials and the classics. The price is a shorter interval between wax baths.
