The Hope Braided Brake Hose - 5mm, 2000 mm is a braided steel hydraulic hose with a 5mm diameter and 2000 mm length. Unlike a standard hose it does not expand under braking pressure, while an older, softened standard hose takes up part of the force that should reach the pads. So the braided hose does not make the brake stronger, it makes sure nothing gets lost. It also fits frames with internal routing. To connect it, use the Hope hose connection kits, straight or banjo 90°.
