Weight
The heaviness of a BMX part, measured by weighing. It's worth noting that weight specifications for BMX parts can vary and may not always be precise. Several factors contribute to this:Manufacturer's weight specifications may be inaccurate or incomplete. The weight of two identical parts can also differ. We cannot weigh every individual part. For example, if there are handlebars in different heights, the manufacturer usually provides just one weight specification for all heights. When weighing two identical tires, you might get two different results.Source: BMX Glossary

The core of the Leatt "ReaFlex 6.0 Ø29mm" MTB Lock-On Grips is filled with ReaFlex, a non newtonian gel from Leatt that absorbs hits from the handlebar and cuts fatigue in hands and forearms. Over it sits a soft TPR layer for a direct feel. The tapered profile has a variable diameter and carries more material on the outer edge where the hand presses hardest. The palm pad in the middle takes the impacts and soft ribs at thumb and index finger stop the hand slipping. A single inboard lock ring frees up more usable grip surface.
