The reworked second generation Maxxis Dissector offers excellent grip, stability and direct cornering, front and rear on a trail bike and as a fast rear tire for enduro use. The redesigned side and transition knobs with a larger footprint engage early and give a planted, confident feel when leaned over and on hard ground. The proven center tread stays, but the center knobs are now split for better braking control and terrain conformity; revised siping across the tread adds grip and durability.
3C MaxxGrip is the stickiest, slowest rebounding compound Maxxis offers, the downhill compound of the World Cup riders with the best damping. EXO+ builds on the 60 TPI casing and combines the EXO sidewall layer with a butyl insert above the bead, made for aggressive trail riding and lighter enduro use. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant. The Wide Trail (WT) sizes are optimised for rims with 30 to 35 mm inner width.
