The Microshift "Advent 9-speed 11-42 Alloy" Cassette is the lighter version of the Advent 9-speed cassette: the largest sprocket with 42 teeth is machined from aluminium, the remaining eight stay steel where the loads rest on few teeth. Eleven to 42 teeth give a 382 % range with even spacing. It fits any standard HG freehub body and runs with a normal 9-speed chain.
