The MTN Components "Cheat Claw V.2" MTB Star Nut is a through-steerer star nut in the design of the MTN Components Cheat Cap. It pulls the top cap down along the whole length of the steerer, which according to MTN gives the cockpit extra stability. The adjustment length is 20 to 24 cm, the weight about 95 g. It is made in Germany.
The version with groove has an enlarged groove that routes the front brake hose, so the olive does not have to be removed and pressed again. It comes in raw and in black, each with or without groove.
