The Ryde "Andra 29 Disc" MTB Rim - 27.5" Inch is Ryde's wide load carrying rim for disc brakes: a pinned double wall rim made of 6106-T6 aluminium, powder coated, 29mm internal width for tyres from 47 to 71mm, built for a 150kg axle load and 1400N spoke tension. The nipple bed is thick and internally reinforced, the spoke holes are drilled 8 degrees radially and 2 degrees axially towards the hub, the valve hole takes Schrader valves. It is not tubeless ready and runs with a tube. At almost a kilo it is no lightweight rim but the choice for 27.5 inch wheels that have to hold up under heavy riders, on an e-MTB or with luggage.
