The Silca "StripChip" Hot Melt Chain Degreaser - 72g does away with degreasing new chains: one piece of the bar goes into the Secret Chain Blend together with the factory-fresh chain, binds the factory grease there and turns it into a wax-like substance. Ten minutes at 125 degrees, drop to 75, pull the chain, fully waxed, no solvents and no drop in performance. The bar holds six pieces of 12 g.
