The Topeak "External Bottom Bracket Tool" Bottom Bracket Tool is the bottom bracket wrench for Shimano bottom brackets with BSA thread and external cups with 16 notches, driven by a 1/2 inch square or a 22 mm hex, i.e. with a ratchet, box, open-end or adjustable wrench. The smaller plastic tool fits the 8-notch internal spline of the Shimano crank fixing bolt and the 16 notches of the BB9000 external cups.
