The Park Tool "PP-1.2" Hydraulic Brake Piston Press slides between the pads in the caliper, spreads them and compresses the hydraulic pistons when replacing or aligning pads or after bleeding. That makes it easy to insert the rotor between the pads when reinstalling a caliper or wheel. Fits most hydraulic disc brake calipers, including Shimano XTR. Not for brakes with ceramic pistons such as Shimano road disc calipers.
