Wolf Tooth "Drop-Stop" MTB Chainring - 96 BCD Shimano XT M8000 is a 1x chainring with Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop tooth profile: wide and narrow teeth alternate, the wide teeth guide the wide chain links and keep the chain on the ring without a chain guide, the narrow ones let mud and dirt pass. The ring is machined in Minnesota from 7075-T6 aluminium. The 96 BCD version for Shimano XT M8000 and SLX M7000 turns the 2x crank into a 1x drivetrain with a matching chainline. Drop-Stop A for 9 to 11 speed and SRAM Eagle, Drop-Stop ST for Shimano 12 speed Hyperglide+.
