The Wolf Tooth MTB Headset Compression Plug with Stem Cap - 1-1/8 Inch is the compression plug for forks with a 1 1/8 inch steerer, the anchor you set the headset preload against: built for carbon steerers, where a star nut has no business, it also works in steel and aluminium steerers with a 23.5 to 24.5 mm inner diameter. The stem cap with integrated 5 mm spacer is included, because many fork manufacturers require the steerer to extend above the stem. 7075-T6 aluminium, 28 mm insertion depth, 38 g according to the manufacturer, expansion bolt 5-7 Nm, cap bolt 2-3 Nm.
