The BMX Contest

The sporting heart of the festival is the BMX park contest, ridden in three competitions:
  • NK2 National Cup & Bavarian Championship: youth classes U12, U15, U18 and U21, for boys and girls
  • King of Woodstone: open class, no license required, true to the motto "Back to the Roots"
  • UCI C1 Elite Women & Men: the international elite competing for UCI C1 points and prize money
Judging follows the UCI rulebook with head judge Gottfried Mühlbauer. In 2025 the riders came not only from all over Germany but also from Canada, Australia, Italy, Slovenia and the Czech Republic. Lars Kindermann won the C1 Men, Lisa Wenisch the C1 Women.

Music, Food and Getting There

In the evenings the festival stage "Fuchsbau" takes over, from DJ sets to live bands. The Cherry Bike Foodpark keeps everyone fed with food trucks from savoury to sweet, among them Don Burrito, Brothers Smashburger, Strada Gustosa and a cocktail bar. On Saturday you can also show off your head for heights at the crate climbing.

The grounds are right next to the B8, parking is free. By public transport, take the U1 from Nuremberg main station to Langwasser Mitte and continue with bus 602 or 603. And in case you miss the weekend: the ramps of the Radler-Club are open to BMX and skateboard riders all year round.
