The Chase "ACT 1.2 Pro XL+" BMX Race Frame is the carbon race frame from Chase. ACT stands for Advanced Carbon Technology: the monocoque frame is built from uni-directional (UD) carbon fiber. Compared to the ACT 1.0 Chase mainly added clearance for bigger chainrings and for more calipers on the optional Elevn disc adapter; Connor Fields and Joris Daudet rode it for over ten months before it went on sale.
The tapered head tube (1-1/8" to 1.5") and the Press Fit BB86 bottom bracket have reinforced alloy cups. At the rear there are extra long enclosed dropouts reinforced with stainless steel and built-in chain tensioners; the 20mm plates are installed, 10mm plates are included. The brake cable runs inside, the V-brake bosses are recessed. An Elevn monocoque carbon aero seat post with integrated quick release comes with the frame.
In size Pro XL+ it has a 21.25" top tube and weighs 1.35 kg according to Chase, without seat post, clamp and tensioners.
