The Early Rider "SuperPly Classic" MTB Kids Balance Bike - 14/12 Inch - Birch is the balance bike Early Rider started with in 2005: frame, fork, bar and seat post made of WBP glued birch veneers that damp vibration and shrug off weather. The small 12 inch rear wheel with its 3.0" wide tyre keeps seat height and centre of gravity low, the 14 inch front wheel rolls easily over bumps. The dual steering system can be restricted for the first attempts so the bar cannot jackknife, and switched to free steering later. Seat height adjusts in four steps from 30.5 to 39 cm, hubs and pneumatic tyres come from the brand's aluminium range.
