The e*thirteen "Helix R 12-speed" Cassette Aluminium Cluster - 42-50T is the aluminium cluster with the two largest cogs (42 and 50 teeth) of the two-piece Helix R 12-speed 9-50 cassette, the predecessor of the Helix Race. The steel cluster with the 9 to 36 tooth cogs stays on the hub, only the aluminium part is replaced; running costs are a fraction of a one-piece cassette. Check chain wear when swapping; from 0.5 % elongation e*thirteen recommends a new chain. Colour grey. For more range take the Helix Race 43-52 cluster, which also fits the 9-50 steel cluster.
