The KMC "XSL Flat Waxed" Chain is KMC's lightweight Flattop chain for SRAM's 12 and 13 speed drivetrains – Eagle Transmission (T-Type) on the MTB and the AXS groups that run a Flattop chain. It comes waxed from the factory with KMC GO chain wax instead of oil, so it runs with low friction from the first ride, attracts less dirt and, according to KMC, lasts twice as long as an oiled chain. The X-Bridge inner plates with optimised chamfers shift cleanly across the whole cassette, hollow pins and stamped-out plates save weight: 314 g at 126 links. The chain is not directional and a MissingLink connector is included. It fits SRAM Flattop drivetrains only, not other 12 or 13 speed systems.
