The e*thirteen "Vario Trail" MTB Chain Guide is the light upper guide from e*thirteen for hardtails and trail bikes up to 140mm of travel: 2-bolt backplate for the two upper ISCG 05 tabs and the ultra-compact slider, without bashguard. The Vario chain guides are the current generation of the guide that has been the most ridden device in the downhill World Cup for almost twenty years. The upper slider adjusts sideways without steps via a single bolt and so suits Boost and Super Boost chainlines, the armature mounts inside or outside the backplate, and the slider swaps between the ultra-compact and the long full-coverage version.
