Weight
The heaviness of a BMX part, measured by weighing. It's worth noting that weight specifications for BMX parts can vary and may not always be precise. Several factors contribute to this:Manufacturer's weight specifications may be inaccurate or incomplete. The weight of two identical parts can also differ. We cannot weigh every individual part. For example, if there are handlebars in different heights, the manufacturer usually provides just one weight specification for all heights. When weighing two identical tires, you might get two different results.

The Excess "XLC" BMX Race Rim - 20 Inch (406) - 36H - V-Brake is a BMX race double wall rim made of 6061-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish. Excess makes the XLC rims in two aero profiles, this is the rear profile with a CNC machined brake track for V-brakes. The spoke holes are slightly angled, so the spokes run in more directly and the wheel gets stiffer.
It measures 406x28mm for 20 x 1.50" to 1.75" tires, is 19mm high, weighs 314g according to US Pro and has 36 spoke holes and a Schrader valve hole. Thanks to its bead lock it is tubeless ready, for that you also need a tubeless valve, rim tape, sealant and a tubeless tire.
