The Excess "XLC Carbon" BMX Race Rim - 24 Inch (507) - 36H - V-Brake is a BMX race carbon rim made from 3K weave with a high gloss finish. Excess makes the XLC carbon rims in two profiles, this is the rear profile with a brake track for V-brakes. On the carbon brake track you must use special brake pads for carbon rims.
It measures 507x30mm for 24 x 1.50" to 1.75" tires, is 30mm high, weighs 399g according to US Pro and has 36 spoke holes and a Presta valve hole.

Carbon rim notice
On carbon rims, single layers of the laminate can crack, usually from hard landings or overloading. Such damage from use is not a defect: it is covered neither by the statutory warranty nor by any manufacturer's warranty. A rim with cracked layers should be checked before it is ridden again.
Our recommendation: carbon rims are best suited to experienced, professional use. Front wheel rather than rear, and park, dirt or race rather than street. Land clean and you keep the weight advantage for longer. Worth being aware of.
