The Halo "Skelta Dirt Jump" MTB Rear Wheel - 26" Inch is for everyone looking for a wider rim on their dirt jump bike. Halo developed the Skelta rim together with riders: 6069-T6 heat treated aluminium, an invisible welded joint and a shot peened, even matt surface against corrosion and fatigue. With 30 mm internal width and a hooked profile it is a particularly stable base for dirt jumping and keeps the tyre secure, with or without a tube. Halo builds it by hand with black, triple butted J-bend stainless steel spokes and black ED coated brass nipples. At its heart runs the MT Mantradrive 750 single speed hub with M10 bolt on axle for 135 mm frames: five leaf spring pawls engage a drive ring with 150 teeth, that is 150 points of engagement at 2.4 degrees, and each pawl engages with seven teeth. Axle and freehub body are Cr-Mo, the freehub runs on 6902 cartridge bearings.
