The Hope "EVO" MTB Crankset is the aluminium crank from Hope: forged and CNC machined 7150 aluminium arms on a 30 mm oversize 7075 axle. According to Hope it is 15 percent lighter and stiffer than its predecessor, the self-extracting axle to arm interface (8 mm hex) makes installation and removal easy, bearing preload is set with a lockring. Chainrings mount directly (Hope Direct Mount) or on a spider sold separately, for 9 to 12 speed. The 68/73 mm bottom bracket version comes with a 133.5 mm axle, the 83 mm version with a 148.5 mm axle. Without chainring.
