The Hope "Pro 5" MTB Rear Hub - 6-Bolt is the rear hub of the Pro 5 range with a 6-bolt rotor mount, for Boost frames with 12 x 148 mm and for 135 and 142 mm. The replaceable freehub uses six offset steel pawls, three of which always engage 54 contact points at the same time, giving 108 engagement points; the revised pawl design has more spring tension with less drag. Hope machines the hub shell from 2014-T6 aluminium and runs it on large stainless steel cartridge bearings, a zero drag labyrinth seal keeps dirt and moisture out. The spoke holes are drilled for J-bend spokes, servicing needs no special tools. You pick hub spacing, freehub (Shimano HG or SRAM XD) and colour as options.
