The Hope "Pro 5" MTB Rear Hub - 6-Bolt Super Boost is the rear hub of the Pro 5 range with a 6-bolt rotor mount for Super Boost frames with 12 x 157 mm. The replaceable freehub uses six offset steel pawls, three of which always engage 54 contact points at the same time, giving 108 engagement points; the revised pawl design has more spring tension with less drag. Besides the aluminium freehub for Shimano HG and SRAM XD, the Shimano HG freehub is also available in steel. Hope machines the hub shell from 2014-T6 aluminium and runs it on large stainless steel cartridge bearings, a zero drag labyrinth seal keeps dirt and moisture out. The spoke holes are drilled for J-bend spokes, servicing needs no special tools.
