The Hope "Pro 5" MTB Rear Hub - Center Lock Boost is the rear hub of the Pro 5 range with a Center Lock rotor mount for Boost frames with 12 x 148 mm. The replaceable freehub uses six offset steel pawls, three of which always engage 54 contact points at the same time, giving 108 engagement points; the revised pawl design has more spring tension with less drag. Hope machines the hub shell from 2014-T6 aluminium and runs it on large stainless steel cartridge bearings, a zero drag labyrinth seal keeps dirt and moisture out. The spoke holes are drilled for J-bend spokes, servicing needs no special tools. You pick freehub (Shimano HG or SRAM XD) and colour as options.
