Loctite "2701" Threadlocker - 5ml is the high strength grade and belongs only where a joint is meant to stay put for good. It resists vibration and impact far better than a medium strength threadlocker, but it will not come apart without heat: dismantling means warming the bolt to around 250 degrees. If you expect to undo the bolt any time soon, reach for the medium strength 243 instead. On chrome plated and galvanised surfaces this product performs particularly well.
