The Maxxis Rekon is a high volume tire with plenty of damping, ideal for the daily ride in the woods or all mountain shredding. Even in rough terrain the Rekon does not let you down: a light duty trail tire designed to go fast in technical terrain. A popular combination is the Rekon at the rear with the Forekaster up front.
3C MaxxTerra is the trail version of the triple compound: less rolling resistance and better treadwear than 3C MaxxGrip, more grip than 3C MaxxSpeed, the sweet spot for trail and enduro. EXO+ builds on the 60 TPI casing and combines the EXO sidewall layer with a butyl insert above the bead, made for aggressive trail riding and lighter enduro use.
