The Onyx "Pro" BMX Race Cassette Hub - 10mm - 36H is the Onyx Pro rear hub with 10mm axle, made in the USA. Instead of pawls the freehub uses the Onyx Instant Engagement system: it engages directly and without friction while pedaling. The shell is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and runs on sealed hybrid ceramic bearings with very low friction.
The freehub body is aluminum and takes Shimano standard cogs, the axle has an aluminum axle body and is clamped with hex key bolts. The cog is sold separately.
According to US Pro the shade may vary slightly between production runs.
Onyx hubs need regular maintenance to keep working properly. A bike shop can help you with the replacement.
