The Onyx "Ultra ISO" BMX Race Cassette Hub - 10mm - 36H is the Onyx Ultra rear hub in the version with an ISO disc rotor mount (6 bolts), made in the USA. Instead of pawls the freehub uses the Onyx Instant Engagement sprag clutch: it engages without dead play and without friction while pedaling. The shell is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and runs on sealed hybrid ceramic bearings that roll very freely.
The freehub body is aluminum and takes Shimano standard cogs, the 10mm axle has an aluminum axle body and is clamped with hex key bolts. The ISO mount lets you switch to a disc brake at any time. The cog is sold separately.
Onyx hubs need regular maintenance to keep working properly. A bike shop can help you with the replacement.
