The Onyx "Ultra SS ISO" BMX Race Cassette Hub - 20mm - 36H is the Onyx Ultra SS rear hub for frames with a 20mm rear thru axle, with an ISO disc rotor mount (6 bolts) and made in the USA. Instead of pawls the freehub uses the Onyx Instant Engagement sprag clutch: it engages without dead play and without friction while pedaling. The shell is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and runs on sealed hybrid ceramic bearings that roll very freely.
The freehub body follows the Onyx SS standard, the hub width is 110mm. The ISO mount lets you switch to a disc brake at any time. Thru axle and cog are sold separately.
Onyx hubs need regular maintenance to keep working properly. A bike shop can help you with the replacement.
