The Pride Racing "Disassembly Ratchet Ring Tool" Misc. Tools + Co. is the special tool with which you unscrew the internal ratchet ring from the Pride Control V1 hub, which cannot be done without a tool because there is nothing to grip on the ring. You take off the washers and the driver, seat the tool in the ring so that every tooth is aligned and turn it out with a wrench, after which the ring is free. According to Pride the Pride Racing "Disassembly Ratchet Ring Tool" Misc. Tools + Co. fits the Control V1 hub only, it is not meant for later hubs.
