The
Reverse Components "easyLOOP" Ahead Adapter
replaces the top cap and makes room for the easyLOOP lift adapter above the stem. It is needed on stems that require special spacers, on steerer tubes cut too short to take a spacer, and where the lift adapter below the stem would sit too close to the frame. No stem may be mounted on the adapter, it does not extend the steerer tube and is only meant for use with the easyLOOP lift adapter. Not for stems with an integrated top cap.
